Newsletter, from Vickie Kraft

Dear Friend,

C. S. Lewis said in his book, The Four Loves: “Very few modern people think Friendship a love of comparable value or even a love at all...To the Ancients, Friendship seemed the happiest and most fully human of all loves...The modern world, in comparison, ignores it.”

If I could define our ministry very simply, I’d say its purpose is to revive the development of friendships between women, especially intergenerational friendships. When these friendships have a spiritual component they are incredibly effective. That’s because it’s the way God designed women. He’s wired us to desire and nourish friendships with each other. It’s wonderful to know that He’s equipped us to do what He commands us to do. Each generation is too mentor the generations following them to know the Lord, trust Him and obey Him. Psalm 78:2-7.

It’s most encouraging to hear from churches that see the need for mentoring the younger generation and ask for help and materials. It’s also heartening to have young women come and ask to be mentored. Please pray for me and the women I meet with weekly and speak to in different places. Pray that the Holy Spirit will open their hearts to His truth so that they are committed to obedience. Seeing women growing to spiritual maturity gives me great joy and sense of purpose.

www.bible.org has a good number of my lessons on their website, all of which can be downloaded free of charge. They have also published my two books that were out of print. I still get requests for The Influential Woman and Facing Your Feelings, so I’m glad that they are available again.

In His grace,
